Carlow hosts the Pan Celtic National Song contest tonight.
19 finalists will compete in the event in the Seven Oaks Hotel which gets under-way at 8 o’clock.
Three acts from Carlow are taking part as well as some well known names including last year’s winner Áine Durkin and singer songwriter John Spillane.
The winning song will go on to represent Ireland at the Pan Celtic International Song Contest in Derry in April.
